A very beautiful rich translucent Kawakawa pounamu -has veins of white visible in the top of the Roimata  in the light like a river coming down the mountain valley -each side has an indent … could be seen as a pool, a spring,  a source of strength -the place that tears come from. Perhaps the indent  could be is a portal -the  healing journey into and through grief. 7.5 x 4 cm. Carved by Warren Woollett.
