The colours of the Ōkārito Wairepo -this wetland in this beautiful Pounsmu . A streak of totoweka a rare natural red -to me it reminds me of the Autumn forest with its Coprosma berry laden boughs -the flowering vine rata and even a kea flying overhead. Fern bird and Ngirungiru (Tomtit) colours here too. The colours in this stone and its matt  finish give this superb carving an earthy feeling. This Koru is 5 x5 cm and carved by Nikita Stevenson.
